The omnibus opens with a story arc following journalist Ben Urich investigating a fight between Daredevil and Leap Frog. Most of the time, it doesn't even feel like a superhero comic in the traditional sense, but instead, it more closely resembles a psychologically-tense crime noir tale set in a wet and grimy Hell's Kitchen.
